4 years later my back is still in great shape!

I had several degenerated discs in my lower back. I had been treating that with all kinds of therapy and nothing worked. My sciatica pain was at a level 10. Drugs were not the answer. A friend recommended Dr. Matheus at Orlando Health in Orlando. My husband and I went to see him and he and his team told me exactly what the surgery would entail. I committed to the surgery and that was in December 2020. Rehab was not bad at all. I feel great today! He is one of the best back neurosurgeons in our area. I had 3 new discs inserted and 2 rods inserted into my lower back. I am very happy that he is here in Orlando as I know he came from the Cleveland Clinic with excellent training. I have been recommending him to everyone I know that has distinct chronic back pain. Thanks Dr. Matheus for putting me back to normal and this is 4 years later!!

Dr Matheus is a great doctor. He takes his time explaining my diagnosis and answers all my questions. I wouldn’t let anyone else touch my back. The office staff is professional and very pleasant.

Very well run administrativly. Dr was prepared and the one mistake was on my part for not ensuring that the required images were sent to him which they were not. I failed to check on it resulting in the need for another appointment. My fault. Great facility and staff for my 1st time there.
